Location and Accessibility
The zoo/glamping area is situated in a somewhat remote location, making it a bit challenging to access directly by bus. Visitors should be prepared for some walking as the bus does not arrive directly at the zoo. However, if you have a heavy luggage or prefer a more convenient option, driving would be the best idea.
Room
The room offers ample space, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. One of its standout features is the large window, which allows for plenty of natural light to enter and creates a soothing atmosphere.
However, despite having a heater, the room can still feel a bit cold due to the material of the tent. As for the bathroom facilities, there is no toilet inside the room. Guests will need to walk to the common toilet, which I would describe as a premium mobile toilet.
It’s worth noting that the accommodation offers various room types, each boasting a unique design and layout. This allows guests to choose the option that best suits their preferences and needs.
Food
For dinner, the option provided is a BBQ experience inside a fancy inflatable tent. While the concept may seem appealing, in reality, it can be a bit challenging. The inside of the tent tends to be cold and dark, making it difficult to fully enjoy the experience. The lighting conditions may not be ideal, making it hard to determine if the meat is cooked to perfection.
It’s important to note that the BBQ option is optional, and the setting may vary in different seasons.
For breakfast, the accommodation offers a unique self-serve sandwich experience. They provide all the necessary ingredients for making sandwiches. Additionally, guests have the option to bring their own ingredients and cook them to their liking. This allows for a personalized breakfast experience, where individuals can create their own sandwiches according to their preferences. Overall, it’s an interesting and interactive way to start the day.
Activity
One of the most unique features of this animal glamping experience is the opportunity to live with an animal of your choice throughout your stay. The selected animal will be inside your room, adding a special touch to your accommodation. There is a wide range of animals to choose from, including small to large animals and those from both land and sea habitats (Please refer to here for more info). For my stay, I chose a prairie dog as my companion. It is an active and playful animal, making it easy to interact with and even hug.
In the morning, the accommodation offers a special package that includes four activities free of charge. These activities aim to provide guests with unique and memorable experiences.
The first activity is the Husky dog walking experience, where guests have the opportunity to interact and walk with these beautiful and energetic dogs. The second activity is the Owl armrest experience, allowing guests to get up close and personal with these majestic birds and even have them perch on their arm. The third activity is the Lion feeding experience, where guests can witness the feeding of these powerful and awe-inspiring creatures. Finally, the fourth activity is the Fox cuddle experience, where guests can enjoy the company of these adorable and playful animals.
